Dream Town Realty to Announce Winners of Chicago Photo Contest at an Event to Benefit Local Homeless Charity
Dream Town Realty, a Chicago real estate company recognized for its leading online technology and innovative website, recently held a photo contest seeking entries for its "Chicago In Focus" photo contest. Over 3200 entries were received in this popular contest seeking to represent the best of Chicago in photographs. Selected photos will be featured in a coffee table book that Dream Town Realty will publish later this year.
Contest winners will be revealed at an after-work cocktail event on Thursday, August 5, at Vertigo Sky Lounge (2 W. Erie) where the winning photographers will receive honors and cash prizes for first, second and third place.
In the spirit of giving back, Dream Town Realty has selected well known homeless organization, La Casa Norte, to benefit from a suggested $10 donation at the event door. Each donation will receive two drink tickets for the evening’s signature drink, the “Chicago In Focus-tini.”

"The inspiration for this project stems from our love of the city's architecture, neighborhoods, and people. Our coffee table book will showcase all aspects of life in Chicago -- the people, the food, the neighborhoods, the buildings, the street fairs, the El, the everyday things that make this city extraordinary."
Judges of the photo contest included Merri Dee (Chicago broadcasting legend), Casey Mitchell (NBC News Photojournalist), Daniel Peter (professional photographer), Tsi-tsi-ki Felix (Telemundo News Anchor), and Phillip Potempa (NWI Times columnist and author).
