Closeout Underway at Brighton Meadows
Homebuyers who have yet to discover Brighton Meadows in Oswego still have time to claim a semi-custom single-family home—but they may not want to wait long, as only a handful of opportunities remain to purchase in the popular community of 95 residences that is located within highly acclaimed Oswego School District #308.
In all, Brighton Meadows buyers can now select from two model homes available for immediate delivery and five different homesites remaining, on which builder Meadowview Development can craft one of eight distinctive floorplans.
“Now is really the perfect time to purchase a home here because buyers can see exactly what they are getting. The community is in place, and you can visibly appreciate the other homes and the beautiful landscaping that brings Brighton Meadows to life. Perhaps most important, since construction is nearly complete, there will be little dirt and dust and the general inconvenience that is inevitable when construction is ongoing,” said Moira Lucchetti, director of sales and marketing for Meadowview Development, who added that six families have already moved into their homes in Phase II.
But one of the biggest draws to the area continues to be Oswego School District #308’s quality schools. The high school just opened up three years ago, and the elementary school debuted two years ago. A long-anticipated middle school also opened in the past year.
For buyers eager to be settled in well before the start of the new school year, two move-in ready homes are now available:
• The Windsor, located at 101 Meadows Ct., features four bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, oversized master suite with dual closets, two-story brick fireplace in the family room, first-floor study, separate living/dining rooms, basement with nine-foot ceiling, custom cabinets throughout and a three-car garage. It is priced at $456,000 (all prices subject to change without notice) and boasts 2,950 square feet.
• The Kent, at 110 Meadows Ct., offers four bedrooms, four full baths, two-story family room, master bedroom with vaulted ceiling and luxury master bath, full basement, wood-burning fireplace, oak rails, and hardwood floors in the foyer, kitchen and dining room. Priced at $425,850, the Kent spans 2,983 square feet.
The five homesites to choose from are all designed for a lookout basement, and each offers a pond view and a quiet cul-de-sac location. The average lot size is 13,500 square feet.
Brighton Meadows buyers can select from eight exciting designs, including one ranch. Each home features three to four bedrooms, two to four baths, attached three-car garage, full basement, central air conditioning, wood-burning fireplace, nine-foot first-floor ceiling, Nu-Wool insulation, oak rails, well-appointed kitchen with granite countertops, whirlpool tub in the master bath, and concrete driveway. Base prices range from $345,200 to $407,100 for home sizes spanning 2,300 to 3,200 square feet.
Depending on the home selected, other standard features include first-floor den/studio, two-story family room, volume foyers, front porches, kitchen pantry, broom closet and more.
“Meadowview Development also prides itself on being a semi-custom builder, which means that we can modify a design to fit your lifestyle and preferences,” said Lucchetti, who added that final buyers will receive $1,500 off any options and upgrades of their choice, for a limited time.
“There aren’t any semi-custom or custom homebuilders offering new homes on the east side of Oswego, so this is really the perfect location if you want more than a cookie-cutter floorplan,” added Lucchetti. “Moreover, we are close to everything and have all the benefits of Naperville.”
Located just east of Rt. 30, Brighton Meadows is conveniently accessible to a range of nearby attractions—including Westfield mall, Fox Valley shopping and dining, Metra rail service, I-88 and the Fox River.
What’s more, she added, “shoppers quickly discover upon visiting our community how much home they can get for their money. A variety of generous appointments and value-added amenities are bundled into each of our crowd-pleasing designs. And our homesites are not only large—offering up to a half an acre in size—but they’re nicely landscaped and all set in attractive cul-de-sac locations.”
Another plus to Brighton Meadows’ locale is that homeowners are not required to pay Special Service Area (SSA) fees.
Brighton Meadows residents enjoy an array of nearby amenities, including scenic parks, biking/walking paths, Oswego’s historic downtown district, golf courses, a petting farm, and many other recreational and cultural hot spots. In addition, a nearby Meijer’s superstore will open soon and a Super Wal-Mart is now under construction.
To visit the Brighton Meadows sales center, take Rt. 34 west to Rt. 30; head east to Treasure Drive; turn right to Harvey Road; and turn right to the model at 101 Meadows Court. Hours are Saturday through Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (closed Thursday and Friday) or by appointment. For more information, call (630) 551-1430 or visit www.MeadowviewDevelopment.com.
